12-04-2025 - Rate 6.9 A decent Jamaica rum. Good nose with a hint of high alcohol/ester. A hint of polish in the taste. Not to found of the taste. Like something is off.

Super nice bottling from CDI, only for Denmark. Jamaica rum as it should taste.

In my opinion a lot of monymusk, alcohol not well integrated, dry, few esters, not fun to drink.

No rum is more imitated than Jamaican rum. This is the home of funk, the fruity, overripe-banana intensity that drinkers call hogo, made in the biggest pot stills outside Irish whiskey. When the rest of the Caribbean moved to the column still, Jamaica kept the pot still as its house style, and that stubbornness is exactly why its rum is so prized today.
