Alcohol not well integrated, for my taste too many rather disturbing herbal notes. Probably they tried to smooth it out with the port finish - but it didn't really succeed.

I've had a bit of trouble with this one. The alcohol is not well integrated, it's very spicy and has a penetrating taste of wood and something strong. At the same time, it catches me, it's good with a beer in my taste. Jamaica is still my favorite dram.

Read full review ›Both on the nose and on the palate, it presents itself undiluted as extremely intense, concentrated, and full of character. The port finish is excellently done and expands the strong Guyana style with additional fruitiness and complexity.
