Cut grass, sugarcane juice and a real vegetal streak — artichoke, green pepper, root — with a splash of overripe honeydew and pear behind it. This is an unaged Guadeloupe agricole bottled at a wild 81.6%, and tasters keep noting how well that alcohol hides; a few blind-guess it near 60%. Neat it's a challenge, but people love it in a ti'punch.

Wow the 81% are integrated very well. Blind i would say approx. 60%. It‘s like a solid agricole with some crazy notes of artichokes. I see this more as a mixing rum than drink it straight. Very nice as a sample 🤓

You have to be very careful with this one! 81.6%! But I will still try it neat and undiluted. Nose: very intense. The alcohol pushes quite a bit, but not as unpleasant as expected. Lots of fruit or sugarcane. Goes towards overripe papaya and fermented honeydew melon. So quite sweet. At the back also clearly vinegar and becoming more bitter. Fresh green with some vegetables towards artichoke and pepper. Palate: clearly, the high ABV makes it start very warm and intense. I want to find fruit, but there is more strong green, vegetable. Goes towards cut grass, root, green pepper and nutmeg with sesame. Finish grassy, rooty, earthy. Crazy, interesting, a bit too harsh neat, overall too earthy and green.

After resting for a good while this was a very nice surprise. Warm and intense with fruit and clear cane notes. I like the fermentation notes as well as freshness. I'd say price matches the quality.

This is a very dry BDC with very little sweetness sensation and even quite little roundness. It's fruity (eau de vie) in its own way (melon/pear) with a nice freshness on citrus (lemon/lime). The typical milky side of Guadeloupe white rums is unfortunately very light here and instead there's a strong terroir side with a kind of very green bagasse (sap/hay/vegetal/green peppers). It's also very mineral and peppery. A very terroir column still!

Neat is already a real extreme challenge! On the nose still relatively "mild" for 81% with overripe, fermented honeydew melon, sugarcane juice and artichokes. On the palate quite a punch but still relatively drinkable despite 81% if you take small cautious sips. But the fun definitely comes in the ti punch, here salted artichoke & green pepper meet williams pear and red berries with yogurt. Very cool ti punch. Canne rouge is just really my thing.

A real powerhouse. Incredibly intense and strong. It has a lot of vegetables (pepper, cucumber, artichoke) on the nose and palate. Very late, besides the warmth, some honeydew melon comes through. Interesting.

Delicious Ti'Punch 😋. Purely very brutal even if the alcohol is well integrated for the percentage. Has everything you expect from a good Agricole: grass, lemon/lime. Top product for mixing.

Lots of power but unfortunately not a lot of aroma. On the palate the alcohol is maybe a bit too present and the aromatic palette is a bit narrow for my taste...

The alcohol is very well integrated, absolutely fine for 81.6%. Super fresh and lots of sugarcane on the palate and of course also on the nose. In the finish it has something earthy/rooty that reminds me a bit of gentian schnapps.
