If you like your rum smoky rather than sweet, this Colombian 24-year is worth a look. Unusually peaty and tobacco-driven for the origin — one taster even calls the smoke "torfig" (peaty). Under it sit coffee, roasted wood, prunes and just a light caramel touch. The 44.2% heat is well integrated, mildly astringent, and the finish runs long. Bottled at this strength for the Austrian market.

Delicious rum, you cant buy it in Colombia because of the 44,2%. It is produced for the Austrian market.
