While I was quite disappointed with the freshly opened bottle and had to deducte a couple of points from my initial rating, a few weeks oxidation really help this Enmore. Alcoholic bite is gone and fruitiness is much more intense alongside a mild sweetness. Therefore score is up a couple of point again 😅

Well-integrated alcohol on the nose, with tapioca and a hint of vegetable soup. With leather and young wood. The palate is balanced with brown sugar aromas, but the flavors are neither very deep nor very broad. The rum is a little narrow and diluted. The finish is refined and long. I'm a little disappointed by this rum, which promised a lot. It's a far cry from El Dorado's early Demerara series.

At the second attempt, it tastes much better and more suitable to me. Subtle approaches between smoky and burnt in combination with herbs and some chocolate, plus fruit.Edit: RumX Advent 13.12.22Mmmh. Difficult...The chocolate led me first to Belize, later to Foursuare. But somehow there were still floral/floral notes.Taste slightly metallic, chocolate, licorice, fruit, nutmeg, relatively dry, finish get. Apricot and peach.Alcohol top integrated. Very fine.mich treibts somehow to Guyana. Also since the rum is relatively low volume. Had estimated an Enmore 88 from Nobilis. 👍🏼

A very restrained nose! Even after a long time it does not really open... surprisingly, I also perceive something solvent, which I can not assign to the Enmore so at all, as well as the floral side after geraniums, whose scent I do not like! The palate fits more into the profile, which is also not very pronounced! The rather boring finish I felt as relatively short! This Enmore seems to me somehow unbalanced and inconsistent!Today in RumX Day 13 I have him the 2.te times in the glass! On the whole I remain with my opinion, however, he is now more pleasing to me and gets therefore 2 points more

Franconian Tasting Gang Unfortunately below expectations. Would have expected a little more here, as the Nobilis bottlings are generally very good. It seems that something went wrong with the cask selection this time.

Almost filigree on the nose, reminds me spontaneously of Riesling Smaragd from the Wachau. Yellow fruit, candied, somehow also floral. More power on the palate, with barrel, roasted notes, herbs, black tea. It doesn't really inspire me...

#13th dec RumXCalendar Blind tasting: Nose: floral, apricot, citrus, oak, roasted Mouth: dry, herbal, tea, cammomile, butterscotch, apricot, oak, licorice, barrel, vanilla Finish: mid long, oak, woody, tannins, toffee, minty, cammomile, licorice This is a solid rum, nothin special. Could be a good daily driver, but the price is way too high. Alcohol is integrated very well. I think this could be from Guyana, Enmore KFM 🤔 ca.60% approx. 20 Years

Nice Enmore pretty well balanced and the ABV has been well integrated. Lovely mix of flavours and the price to quality is pretty good.

Tasted together with the 1996 Enmore El Dorado Rare Collection and the 2002 Diamond from Romdeluxe. In direct comparison, I found it the least appealing of the three. Somehow too little of everything.

First Impression: very fruity on the palate, as well as being mild and a bit sweet. Now after having a long breathing time: good nose, but sometimes a bit shy. The nose is more fruity, the palate has more herbs. It appears to be sweet but is not, really. The finish ist more spicy and woody. A very nice Rum.

RumX Adventskalender 13.12. Krasse Kamillennote die lange anhält. Insgesamt ein sehr „heller“ Guyana Rum

"The nose is rather unspectacular and discreet. The taste doesn't really pick me up either. In my opinion, you don't notice the rum's long storage time at all."
