75th Super U SF. Very good caramel. "A blend of "Guadeloupe rums", so probably molasses, as it's very sweet and syrupy.

Very beautiful color, slightly cloudy, announces a concentration of aroma. Very gourmand nose, round on exotic fruits, wood and a ‘je ne sais quoi’ of fortified wine... In any case, the nose announces a certain sugar! Palate lives up to the nose, soft, the 42 degrees confirm it, and explodes on sugar, cocoa, yellow fruits to finish on a slight woody touch. Very pleasant to taste at the ‘distillery’ in the sun of St Martin. A gourmand rum to reserve for initiation to replace Diplomatico or other very (too) perfumed rums... sweet finish on Demerara sugar.

Initial smell has tangerine, oak and maybe lemon. Light convoluted and caramel. Orange marmalade really. Pours a rich mahogony in colour. A little more oak in the mouth, some sweet caramel. More complexity on the nose than in the mouth. A little candy lemondrop. Follow through isn't great. Short finish, mostlysweet with some barrel bitterness. Sample thanks to Yaro.
