7,9:On the nose, roasted wood notes with caramel, roasted nuts and cocoa, spicy, slightly alcoholic, mineral, fruity with pear and citrus fruits, vegetal molasses, bump into our nosetrils. On aeration, yellow and dried fruits arise, flowery molasses, sweet with honey, metallic patina. 8,1:On the palate, the attack is fruity with red fruits(cherries), pears(like a fruit schnapps), dried apricots, oranges, later bananas and lime peel, as the wood is roasted with roasted nuts, dark chocolate, caramel, spicy with vanilla, ginger. The molasses is fresh, herbaceous, grassy and flowery, sweet with honey, slightly mineral.When the rum is well oxidized, some bitterness crawls in. 8:The finish is rather long, dry and tannic, fruity with dried fruits, banana, pear and grapes, pairing the roasted wood with chocolate and caramel, spicy with vanilla, ginger, as the molasses is slightly minty... A relatively young Savanna with an unusual flavor profile, very drinkable. Personally, though, too sweet for me (as if a little dosage was added).

Cologne-Bonn rum tasting: I would never have recognized Savanna. Already very alcoholic on the nose, some pear, otherwise citrus fruits, fresh and vegetal. On the palate vegetal and some vanilla to taste.
