Berry Bros & Rudd Foursquare Barbados Rum 2010
Best sipped neat at a slow pace — this 10-year Foursquare leans oily and rounded, with wood, light roast, faint caramel and a quiet pineapple-coconut fruitiness. Tasters call it "naturally sweet" without being sugary, and warming despite the 50.8% cask strength. A few note a heavy wine-cask influence and a hint of milk chocolate. Several wished it were a touch more expressive.
- Oily, rounded body
- Naturally sweet
- Easy at cask strength

A very interesting rum for me as I didn't know it was Barbados...first taste was a light, rounded rum, with a warm finish and a 48% guess...I like the rum, it's my style. After the second taste, the Foursquare signature and woodiness is already there, while at the same time I can smell a bit of compote, fruitiness or honey.

Ořechové a dřevitá vůně.

Very nice Fsq. Rounded, tasty, fsq style, not much alcohol taste. It just could be more expressive.

I expected Barbados to be better, it has a more sour taste
