Really beguiling, warm nose, smooth and soft on the palate, the typical gummy bears are there, the 46% fits perfectly. The rum is pleasant to drink, not at all tiring. If only the finish wasn't so sour, almost sulphurous ... But some people like that. I found the rum at the end of June 2024 in a small tobacco store in Berlin. It must have been gathering dust in a corner for 8 years. Cost less than 100 EUR. The tobacconist apologized for the price, unfortunately he couldn't keep up with the competitive prices of the online stores. If only he knew ... 😊 P. S.: Unfortunately, the bottle is already empty. 🤷🏽♂️

23.05.2020 Crazy tasting with lots of participants and a few friends. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Intense, ester, light wood, dried fruits, pineapple, faint rubber, light leather. Palate Intense, spicy, light wood, fruity, light smoke, grass, faint glye, light citrus, light medicinal. Finish Long and warm, light citrus, light wood, faint floral, light leather, light medicinal.

Somehow fermented. And somehow not so cool. Sour note, the usual savanna strawberry becomes more of a raspberry. Something like tobacco on the back. Really interesting, but not delicious. The alcohol content is also strangely chosen. I would have preferred more or less. Very interesting experience.

I was very pleasantly surprised, was very drinkable and sociable. On the nose, initially some esters, dried light fruits, pear, a little wood, all very round. Then very mild and round on the palate, a great bouquet of fruit, vanilla and wood. So really a palatable Savanna.

Most fruity for me is fermented strawberry

Ester, distinct fruity notes of banana and pear, but also putrid impressions of cow dung. Spiciness. Delightfully intense.Fruits and wood predominate on the palate, although after some time the influence of the cognac finish clearly appears.Towards the end, herbs and smoky aromas emerge.Grande Arome Rum fun, especially on the nose.

Color: Gold Aroma: Aromatic fruit esters can be smelled from a distance. Sweet with aromas of tropical fruits - mango, mandarin, banana and a little solvent and chewing gum. Also vanilla and some smoke. Mild. Taste: Spicy in the mouth with toffee. Spicier on the swallow, peppery with sandalwood and slightly fruity. Somewhat watery. Finish: Dry and woody with ginger and creamy toffee. Esterig and herbal in the aftertaste. 85 points
