Dràm Mòr Clarendon Single Cask Rum
Jamaican funk fans already comfortable with Clarendon are the target here. The nose is a bomb of overripe banana and pineapple with vanilla and smoke; the palate turns oily and woody with mocha, cacao and spice. One taster called it the "best integrated Clarendon nose" they'd hit lately. At 63% it runs warm and powerful, and a couple felt it lacks finesse.

How does Dràm Mòr Clarendon Single Cask Rum taste?
Aggregated from 22 community reviews.
Funky, oily Clarendon pot-still at cask strength Most tasters rate it a strong, funky Clarendon pot-still with great fruit and a long warm finish. The catch: powerful but not the most refined, and a touch sweet for some.

Tasted during our latest Road Rummers tasting. Very pleasant rum with nice level of funk, but not blowing me of my chair. If I am not wrong, this was the overall winner of the evening, but not in my personal taste book…

Very different Clarendon that I am used to. Aroma is absolute bomb of jamaican funk with overriped fruits (banana mostly) with hints of sweet (vanilla), spice, smoke and wood notes. Taste was pretty gentle with sweet tones of honey, tropical fruits (lemons mostly), hint of menthol (loved it), spice and wood. I noticed little bit of vegetal/herbal/flower tones and hint of alcoholic flavor (not unpleasure at all). Finish was long, warmy with lot of that jamaican funk and little bit if spice. Very interesting sample, for my taste it will be better if tha sweetness was on less scale but still great sample.

A big nose, best integrated Clarendon nose I have come across recently, some Demerara elements and great fruit. Mouth brings notes of mocha and a slight burn from the alcohol, overripe tropical fruit, cacao and spice. More present at times, not as integrated as it could be. Finish is long with a hint of capaccino and spice. It’s a powerful rum although lacks finesse. Good but not great
