Keine Ahnung, aber dieser Holz mich wieder mehr ab. Ist sehr schön holzig sowie vanillig in der Nase. Am Gaumen wird er dann eher würzig, Holz/Eiche sind gut erkennbar. Vanille und Mokka kommen hier noch hinzu.

This is a nicely balanced rum and I think the price tag is spot on. Sweet and fruity with nice roasted wood and I like the light coffee note you get. Draws really nice curtains in the glass. The barrel finish is also in there without being too dominant and the empty glass reveals a lot of nice flavours.

Gut gereifter Panama-Rum stellt eine geeignete Basis für ausdrucksstarke und kräftige Fasseinflüsse dar, was sich auch hier wieder bestätigt. Das Süßweinfass gibt zwar den Ton an und prägt das Gesamtbild, jedoch ohne die Herkunft des Destillats vollständig zu verdecken. Mir auf Dauer ein kleines bisschen zu süß und weinlastig, aber schon ziemlich lecker!

Ein sehr intensiver Geruch nach Holz, Kakao und Karamell kommen einem entgegen. Geschmacklich kommt dann noch das Süßweinfinih leicht durch, was wirklich gut passt. Schöner Abgang mit Kaffeenote. Ein Rum der sehr kräftig und vielschichtig ist für einen Vertreter des spanischen Stils. Gefällt mir.

Sehr guter Vertreter aus Panama. Die 24 Jahre sind bemerkbar aber trotzdem bringt der Rum eine schöne Fruchtigkeit. Äußerst ausgewogen und kräftig, im Nachklang dominiert das Fass. Das ist richtig gutes Zeug!

Die Kombi mit dem Süssweinfass tut dem Rum gut - ohne die Trockenfrüchte wäre das ein eher eindimensionales Profil. Die mir bekannten Artesanos eint mE eine recht eigene Note, die ich mit milchigen Noten und etwas Mineralischem verbinde.

Ein sehr sehr leckerer Rum. Das Alter ist hier wunderschön wahrnehmbar. Der Einfluss vom Fass perfekt abgestimmt. Panama Rum auf höchstem Niveau. Eigentlich so nur bei Herrn Lauingen zu finden. Die Nase ist rund dunkel und einladend. Am Gaumen viel Fasseinfluss. Ein süßer Rum der aber zum Ende wieder wunderbar trocken wird und kurzfristig adstringend ist. Für mich der perfekte Gaumen Schmeichler und Artesano 20+ Rums sind das Beste was man aus Panama bekommt. Geiles Zeug. Underrated!

Das Grundprodukt ist ein solider Rum aus Panama. Im Abgang kommt dann schnell und deutlich die Weinfasslagerung zum Vorschein, die mir persönlich etwas zu viel ist.

Braucht definitiv Zeit sich zu öffnen, wird dann immer besser. Die vom Weissweinfass kommende Süße rundet den Rum super ab. Spannend, was Finishes bewirken können.

Farbe: Goldbraun Geruch: Zu Beginn süßes Karamell. Dann Toffee, Rosinen, Kakao und Holz. Zudem Röstaromen. Insgesamt ausgewogen und rund. Geschmack: Vollmundig, süß und schwer im Mund. Beim Schlucken würzig schokoladig. Viel exotische Gewürze - Kümmel, Kardamom, Nelke und Pfeffer. Zudem Dörrpflaumen, holzige und röstige Aromen. Lecker! Abgang: Mittelgang Kakao, holzig, würzig und röstig. Bitter im Nachgeschmack. 82 Punkte
