Today we did a widespread tasting with very different rums. The finish has a strong licorice to it and I really like that.

Here the nose goes more in the direction of 1950, if not a little further. Strongly pronounced wood aromas and leather is perceptible with some glue. Hardly any similarities with 1953. A pleasant dry bitterness on the palate, which I really like. The finish is correspondingly long. The most complex of the top three. 86 points
