#5383 08.06.2025 Enjoying a few random samples while watching the new movie "The Accountant 2". Nose Medium intense, fresh, sugarcane, spice, faint smoke, light medicinal, citrus, vegetal. Palate Oily, medium intense, warm, fresh, sugarcane, citrus, vegetal, faint floral. Finish Long and warm, fresh, oily, sugarcane, light citrus, faint floral, vegetal. Empty glass Spice, citrus, light floral, light earthy, light iodine. Needs to rest for a while to really open up. Price to quality is extremely good in my mind.

This blend offers plenty of contrasts, with the Grogue's greasy, sugarcane character contrasting with the Bielle's herbal, iodized, mineral character, all of which blend together perfectly! The 59.8° are well integrated. An incredibly long finish. A wonderful experience.

A powerful rum, a little bomb on the palate, but unfortunately lacking in length. Nonetheless, you can really taste the sugar cane - a delight!
