Caramel, vanilla marshmallow and an oddly literal strawberry note run through this one — one member nailed it as "pancakes with maplesyrup and strawberries." It's sweet, soft and easygoing, with a tight, even body that opens up with a drop of water. Most tasters found it better than expected, though a few hit a thin middle and a slightly bitter finish.

Very nice sweet rum. Nose full of sweets and spices. You can sense fruity tones too, mostly green fruits and green apple. Taste is radically different with nostly sweet tones of caramel, nougat, vanilla, burnt sugar, cinnamon and coffee. Finish is medium long. I quite like this one. It is sweet but actually nicely balanced with full flavoured taste. I could imagine having a sip of this rum every now and then, mostly after a good meal as a digestive.

Ganz interessant, sicherlich besser als erwartet. Der Rum wird sowohl an Nase als auch Gaumen von Anklängen von Malzbier überzogen. Darunter auch Fruchtiges, wie Erdbeere und grüner Apfel aber eher in Richtung Gummibärchen.

Great cause and a quite decent rum. Color: Very nice deep amber to darker gold. Looks great in the glass. Nose: Sweet caramel and vanilla marshmallow. The slightest hint of strawberry dessert. Mouth: Even burn, good depth and roundness. Vanilla marshmallow carries through but sweet caramel less so. Very integrated flavor, little bit tight even. With a drop of water it opens up very nicely yet remains very balanced. Finish: Average linger and maybe towards shorter side. No new flavors developing and peters out evenly. This rum has its heart in the right place by donating some of its proceeds to tiger conservation. It’s also not a bad product. I was expecting a complete gimmick here but it’s not terrible.

This rum is 8yo column still rum produced from molasses as well as cane juice. Overall I think it’s a quite well balanced, smooth and pleasant rum that’s much better than expected and I wouldn’t hesitate if someone offered me a glass.

Holz, Karamell und Vanille sind dominant; beim zweiten Schluck kam dann auch ein Hauch von Erdbeere zum Vorschein. In Nase und Gaumen empfinde ich den Alkohol trotz seiner nur 40% sehr stechend; trotzdem besser als erwartet.

Cannot say much about the smell - it took me a while to actually sense much but it was indeed a sweet smell. Taste wise, it was a very interesting experience - first time I have ever tasted strawberry in a rum and what a ride it was. I can only recommend this rum to anyone who likes sweet tastes - honestly it is close to a liquor. Nonetheless, it is a pleasant experience but not enough to consider owning a bottle myself.

Although the smell is actually nice, I smell pear cake with strawberry tones, the taste is empty. At the beginning is sweet but than disappear. Probably you can catch presence of a fruit in the aftertaste, still the rum needs serious improvement to be good.
