02-09.04.2022 This was crazy week, where some friends and I rented a nice summerhouse on Rømø. The plan was to go nuts for a whole week with different rums without going overboard. The final agreement came to 6 rums a day and then enjoy nice walks or ferry rides during the day. Day 5 Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Light wood, citrus, light apple, pineapple, faint glue, faint apple. Palate Warm, wood, light citrus, light apple, pineapple, faint salt, light tannins, light olive. Finish Medium long, wood, light tannins, citrus, light olive, faint salt.

Very entertaining as a rum. The soul of Hampden is all there! The nose is very intense and brash, an explosion of fruit hard to list with super funky note. It all repeats on the palate where the alcohol is less brash although it warms the mouth nicely. Very long finish. Only for funky lovers!!!
