Another really nice Depaz. Fruity with spices and nice wood. I like the warmth on the tongue and long finish as well as the light nuttyness on nose and palate.

Depaz

Avg Rating 8.1/10 over 140 Rums

Depaz is the rum born from a volcano. After Mount Pelee wiped out Saint-Pierre and his entire family in 1902, the orphaned Victor Depaz came back and planted cane on the very slopes that had killed them. The distillery he built in 1917 still stands at the foot of the volcano, and its agricole is among the most decorated on Martinique.
