Sanft an der Nase, erinnert stark an Pampero Aniversario, auch wenn der aus Venezuela stammt. Der Geschmack lässt einiges erahnen, wird aber von viel Zucker überdeckt. Dadurch ist er aber auch sehr sanft für die fast 60%

Far better balance and ABV integration than the XO cask but still sweet on the palate. I'd say this is this far the best of the new ones after changing the name of the release.

Angenehm an der Nase, mit Noten von Vanille, Holz, Karamell und Kaffee. Im Gaumen ist er schön ölig und insgesamt lecker im Geschmack, mir jedoch deutlich zu süß. Der hohe ABV kann das nicht ausgleichen.

The nose is straight up disagreeable with sharp acetone. The taste gives a surprisingly well-rounded flavor of cola and caramel, not bad at all for 57%. I would use this as a cocktail rum considering the low price tag.

Very strong rum that should not be taken neat. Due to the strong alcoholic smell I could not identify anything specific aside from a slightly sweet smell. The taste was also overpowering but at the same time the sweetness came out vividly. Too bad I could not identify anything specific but this would be a good rum for mixers. The sweetness coupled with other syrups would make a blissfull cocktail!

Guys, guys be aware of this rum! It has 58%, but it doesn't seems to have them, so don´t blame me after you get totally drunk, that I didn´t warn you! And now, let´s be serious. Nose is strong, alcoholic and pleasantly sweet. During the whole time this rum is sweet and smooth, it could go like this - salty caramel, caramel, honey - one shot, two shots.....Mordor.

In nose it’s quite pleasant, but in mouth, at palate and during the medium long finish it then becomes supersweet which destroy this rum completely for me. The rather high ABV of 57,5% can’t balance the sweetness at all. Another interesting thing about this rum, is that it’s possible to find a rum with exactly the same label with the name Ron Esclavo instead of Patridom.
