Les Grands Alambics Sea and Sun 1999
Opinions land close together here: this drinks more like a young whisky than a classic Trinidad rum, and that's the whole story. Green apple, black pepper and a touch of caramel, with a light, almost watery body for its 22 years. Some find the alcohol nicely tucked in; others say it pokes through. One taster even guessed Guyana. Atypical, and not for everyone.

How does Les Grands Alambics Sea and Sun 1999 taste?
Aggregated from 11 community reviews.
Whisky-like Trinidad, peppery and apple-driven The verdict is consistent: a whisky-leaning Trinidad without the usual markers. Members respect it but several expected more depth for the age — pleasant, not thrilling.

Dommage.

Belle robe or.
