Slightly thin on the finish. But otherwise one of the better Spaniards I've had. Very good profile. Whisky cannot be tasted directly, but gives the rum a good depth of flavor. Great PLV. Goes wonderfully with a cigar.

I have both this one and the Tomatin version and this one scores a bit more. Woody and fruity with vanilla from nose to finish. The palate and finish is sweet and medium long. I think this is a rum even beginners would appreciate and far cheaper than the Tomatin version.
