23.05.2020 Crazy tasting with lots of participants and a few friends. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Intense, light wood, fruits, orange, ester, light cherry, vegetal, polish. Palate Intense, warm, ester, light wood, light orange, faint mint, light polish, light vegetal. Finish Medium to long, light wood, light polish, warm, orange, light mint.

Wow - that was still a leftover from Kröger's old bar (At this point I have to add that Franzotti makes extremely good drinks even without Nico and the service is really outstanding) - apparently it hasn't been tasted much here on RumX - in short, I think this is still a remnant from the time when Savanna still lived up to its name in terms of price-performance. Despite the dilution to 46%, this rum still has mega aroma, even if you can of course tell the reduced alcohol. For me so far one of the few rums that a cognac finish hasn't harmed. Beautiful balance between harmony and complexity.
