Emptied a bottle of this rum, that’s nothing to write home about, down in Costa del Sol. It’s distilled in 2014 at the Domaine de Séverin in Guadeloupe. It’s aged in former Bourbon Casks except for the last six-month when it was finished in former Sherry Casks. The nose woody, spicy, dry and burnt with scents of vanilla. At the palate it’s dry, fruity and vegetal with flavors of cigar and tobacco. The finish is medium long.
