#6031 05.12.2025 Continueing the box of blanc/unaged Rums that i got. Watching A Better Tomorrow 2012. Nose Fresh, round, sugarcane, citrus, light floral, olive, light polish, faint mint, light pear. Palate Oily, warm, round, sugarcane, citrus, light mint, light herbs, peppery, olive, light salt. Finish Medium to long, peppery, citrus, sugarcane, light herbs, light pear. Empty glass Pear, citrus, light herbs, light olive, light mint.

On the nose it is fresh with very light fermented and matured notes, floral, vegetal and burnt sugar. On the palate it is warmer and deeper with mixed umami, salty, citrus, vegetal and Christmas spice notes (barnyard, after eating chocolate cookies). There is also a touch of acidity but it is well rounded compared to other versions like Perle Fine and Perle Rare where it is intrusive.

Powerful rum, you really feel the 66 degrees. Like all the whites from A1710, it has a superb fresh cane smell.
