A dark-looking rum. The nose is balanced on varnished wood and dried fruits. The palate is also pleasant with an added caramel/vanilla side. The finish is reasonably long but rather one-dimensional. An excellent quality/price ratio, above the Jamaica and far above the very sweet Barbados from the same T. Sonthi.

Recht unspektakulär und wenig komplex mit kurzem Abgang. Geschmacklich ein wenig Holz und trockene Aprikose, der Alkohol ist trotz geringer Prozentzahl ziemlich bissig. Mir persönlich schmeckt er besser, wenn man nach einer angezechten Nacht heim kommt und den Kumpels noch was auftischen will, als genussvolles Gläschen am Abend ist er nicht so passend.
