Interesting rum that is very difficult for me to grasp in terms of taste: the sweetness dominates at the beginning (but not sticky or unpleasant). Over time, wax and vegetal notes are added. Sometimes I feel reminded of a St. Lucia profile, then again of Guyana notes. The alcohol is very well integrated. A very exciting rum, even if it somehow doesn't quite grab me personally.

Not an easy one. I like the nose, but everything is a bit closed and cold. Nice natural sweetness with a fine smoky undertone. Herbs come in on the palate. The rum is a bit rough and slightly alcoholic. A bit thin. I like this bottling, but it definitely has edges and corners. The 2000s WIRD profile is there, but not as intense as in other bottlings.
