02.10.2016 - 03.10.2016 A great extended weekend with rum friends. This was a nice event and lots of space between the tables. Only problem was the level of English at some of the exhibitors. I will start with the rums we brought ourselves and then add the ones we tried at the event. Notes Light to medium dark in colour. Nose Light, faint floral, light minerals, citrus. Palate Light, thin, light roasted wood, light floral, faint medicinal, citrus. Finish Short, light wood, light citrus, faint earthy note.

If you buy Caroni and get Carony ... (see the photo of bottle) ... Caroni je destilerie z Trinidadu, produkujici v dobe sve nejvetsi slavy rum, ktery se pridaval v pomeru 1:10 do namornickeho blendu. Byl totiz moc vyrazny a divny nez aby byl prijemny na jazyku. V roce 2000 destilerka skoncila s produkci a byla uzavrena. Az v roce 2010 se objevili degustatori, kteri si rum oblibili prave pro jeho specialni chut. A zajem rostl. Caroni patri do kategorie rumu "you need to try before you die". Doporucuji, Caroni je opravdu unikatni rum.
