The nose is delicate with notes of citrus, tropical fruit and flowers. The palate is initially pungent with intense vegetal/earthy and somewhat citrusy(tangerine)/pepper notes and then melts into a honeyed, floral sweetness. Very rounded. One savors the profile of otaïti cane that grows in Polynesian territory, it remains more delicate and sweet than blue or red cane.

Pub The Rumah Rotterdam April 2026. Yes, this is really a very ester-rich rum. Definitely very buttery, also very floral, sugarcane and pastry are also recognizable. Quite agricole if you ask me :) (But who does that anyway :-)).

#5565 17.08.2025 Running a few samples while watching God's of Egypt. Nose Fresh, light, light citrus, berries, spice, sugarcane, light herbal, faint floral. Palate Oily, light, naturally sweet, sugarcane, spice, berries, citrus, vegetal, light honey, light spicy. Finish Medium to long, round, naturally sweet, citrus, light floral, vegetal, sugarcane. Empty glass Sugarcane, citrus, light honey, flowery. Surprisingly good considering the price tag.

Advent calendar tasting #11 It's not my favorite at all, I've had whites that I enjoyed more than this. Still, nice fruit notes with a dominance of citrus. It's not unpleasant on the palate, but there's a slightly too strong iodine side and the juice is a bit flat.

Very unusual spicy sweet profile for an agricole style from Tahiti. Has almost something of brioche or pastry with apricot jam and some cinnamon.... In the daiquiri unfortunately a bit boring.

Tamure Double Distillation 56° 🇵🇫 (2026) Nose: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Undeniably a double distillation rum (pot still, like Cognac) from Tamure: fresh cane but especially the aromatic coming from the pot still: warm and metallic. Typical yeast and fermentation notes of Tamure double distillation. In this last batch, a note of clay. Finally, white flowers 🌸 and a little citrus 🍋🟩 (lime). Palate: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The cane really expresses itself upfront. The attack is lively, the alcohol (56°) gives a lot of pep (pepper) and heat! It stings and all these aspects are reinforced by the heat and metallic aspect perceived on the nose. Later, a little earthy note appears in the background with a zest of lime. The second sip leans a bit more on the cane and the citrus side: the metallic note is still there but more in the background. Finish: ⭐⭐⭐ Long on earthy cane and lime zest.
