26-27.01.2024 Hanse Spirits. Retasting this and I still thing this is a very good rum at the price tag. ------------------- This one was a huge surprise so I'll have to get a few for my tastings. Price to quality is very good and a must try for most. Try to add a piece of lime zest and the rum just comes to life. We tried a new unfinished version that was over 70% and it was even better. That one I'd be interested in as well 😂

Very nice Agricole blanc! Beautiful packaging, nice authentic citrus note, very smooth! Really intensely lemony! 🍋 Plus a surprisingly tangy raspberry note and a little camomile. Oh yes, and absolutely outstanding in Ti Punch!

Agricole Blanca is the rum category where I have the highest throughput. I love this style! I bought this bottle at GRF and blame a small piece of Martinique lime that opened the rum incredibly. The nose is very fresh: grass, lime, green apple and salty, mineral notes are very harmonious. The mouth is surprisingly soft and ripe. The grass is more hay uhd the mineral notes come out more clearly. A wedge of lime actually works wonders here. Very little sugar and lime is needed in the Ti'Punch, and the rum seems as fresh as my favorite white wines. A touch of anise adds complexity here, as it does neat. The Plein Soleil is a great, more classic Agricole. Not super green, no wild extravagances, but perfectly crafted, balanced Agricole blanc.

Really good unaged Agricole. Fresh fruit meets grassy Agricole notes. Worth mentioning: with a little oil from the lime zest added after the first sip, a decidedly harmonious taste picture emerged - the rum should make an excellent Ti Punch.

Unfortunately, I didn't take enough notes on this white. All I can remember is that it was rather pleasant. Edit: tasted again at RhumFest, plain and then with a hint of lime zest. Superb impression confirmed. Even more so with the zest.

This is a beast. On the nose extremely strong sugarcane with green vegetal notes. On the palate first sugarcane, then green notes, then mineral notes and slightly earthy. When you think nothing more is coming, wrong. I tasted it 30 minutes ago and it still tastes in the whole mouth and on the tongue, even though I drank something else in between, the taste keeps coming back, incredible! I just don't know yet if Agricoles are for me. We'll see.

If you like white Agricole anyway, you'll be fully served here. For about 40 euros you get everything you can expect from a (good) white Rhum. Flowers, esters, citrus fruits, lychee, and an excellent vegetal freshness and spiciness. Le Plein Soleil is very brilliant.

This is a White Rhum as I like it, while I struggle with most white molasses Rums, Agricoles seem to be more in the sweet spot for me. Sweet might be the reason, as they usually have a bit more natural sweetness, but I also like the fresh herbal notes. This is solid, and I would have it again. I think it will do a really good Ti Punch.

So far my favorite unaged Agricole for Ti Punch, especially in summer, super tasty! After tasting it several times, I have to say that I am still a fan of this excellent Agricole. It's so full of flavor. I bought another bottle and am already looking forward to great summer evenings with a TiPunch in my hand.

Can't help it, but I smell the olive water of a Clairin. The taste is soft and herbal. Fresh hay and other Agricole typical notes are rather subordinate. In the finish, unfortunately, almost like a sprayed lemon peel that has not been washed sufficiently before.

A very soft and intensely flavored Agricole! The 54% is just perfect here! PLV very good! Tasted again yesterday! This really is a very mild Agricole, despite the 54%! It's simply good all round! My wife, who doesn't really like rum, was absolutely thrilled! She immediately wanted a glass too 😁

Tasted at the rum fest, good impression on the nose, we are right on the markers of agricole whites, with a dominant cane scent. The palate seems less sweet. A small chip of lime zest revives it and brings back the sweetness anticipated on the nose. The price remains modest compared to its quality.

Unfortunately, I haven't tried it in ti-punch, maybe I should have, judging by the other comments. Pure, this white rum is very grassy with a strong sugarcane taste but the alcohol seems poorly integrated and much lower than what is done elsewhere in Martinique.

Tasting at Limoges Spirits Festival 2025. 👃 Concentration of pure sugarcane juice, sunny, pure. Lots of floral aromas and fresh citrus (combawa). Lovely note of melon with rose and aniseed green olive. Subtle, sweet and elegant. 😋 Intense and sweet sugarcane at the same time. Very floral, herbaceous. Green citrus, lemon zest, passion fruit, peppery spices, pink berries. ⛳ Fresh, both vegetal and mineral. Bitterness of lime zest. Licorice finish. 🏆 Very good white rum, typical, freshness of the cane, gourmandise, it lives up to its name.

A nice Rhum Agricole and you can tell that this rum contains the DNA for the two aged rums. A nice nose, fruity and floral. The taste also has fruity and floral notes. The finish is long and the grassy notes are dominant, with a slight bitter aftertaste but not unpleasant. The Ti-Punch brings out rather peppery, floral notes. You can also taste the pencil shavings again. As Ti Punch there are better rums. This rum should rather be drunk neat.

Baie des Tresors as a bold newcomer mixes at the front with this white Agricole. Nice fresh and fruity aromas. Very mineral on the palate and almost inviting for Ti Punch. A very nice addition to the already broad blanc Agricole market.

Comparison with the Neisson 52.5 (RX303) Nose: Sugarcane and vegetal notes. Also subtly recognizable (citrus) fruits. Definitely similarities present. However, the Neisson is more delicate. Taste: delivers what the nose promises. Especially a whole lot of sugarcane. But also vegetal-herbal notes. Subtle (citrus) fruits are also present in the taste. The Neisson is again more delicate here and also sweeter for me. I really like it. Very good price-performance ratio. Although I prefer the finer nose of the Neisson, this one convinces me more in taste. Also great in Ti-Punch. I also like it significantly better in Ti-Punch than the Neisson. Would buy it again anytime.

The nose is intense with citrus, butter, fruit (melon/papaya) and toastiness. The palate is full-bodied with vegetal and somewhat earthy notes, there are ripe and spices (pepper) and it also has a distant hint of charred. Interesting. In the empty glass aged/fermented cheese.

As the title suggests, it’s kind of like a girl with really long, freshly painted nails just dipped her fingers in your fresh coconut drink. Maybe a little vanilla. Pours mostly water clear with maybe a hint of tint. Finish comes on a little spicy. Had as part of a flight at Green Zone.

I enjoyed Ti Punch with it. I like it very, very much. There's a saying that fits: "Chacun prépare sa propre mort." So everyone makes it how they like. Delicious drink. I've never been to Martinique but felt like I was. The 54% is super gently integrated. Fruity, especially lemony notes and the typical grassy, fresh, floral, sugarcane flavor. Definitely going into my standard repertoire.

Very fragrant, it smells like fresh cane, freshly cut grass. A little bit of bitterness on the palate but the cane and lemon are very present, a spicy peppery side appears. It really takes on its full meaning with a twist of lime, the aromas are released. So I love it in a ti punch.
