Anyone easing into agricole on a soft, low-key bottle will get the most out of this. It's light and mild — toast, sweet vanilla, a little honey, then anise and dried apricot on a short finish. The grassy cane side stays faint; a couple of tasters barely found it at all. At 40% it's gentle and easy, which is the whole point and also the main gripe.

09.01.2019 Enjoying samples at home. Colour Medium dark in colour. Nose Light sood, sweet, berries, spice, spice, light caramel, light floral. Palate Light, sweet, light wood, spice, light cherry, lightly biter, faint caramel, light anise, light dry, berries. Finish Short to medium, light wood, sweet, spice, berries, light roasted, cinnamon.

Would be interesting to know which distillery is behind it. Without direct comparison, I would place it with Reimonenq. I like it, even though it is of course overall too thin.

Notes of toast and sweet vanilla on the nose. Confirmed on the palate. Quite a short finish. Very light and not very expressive. I didn't notice the agricole side. No idea about the price as it was received as a gift. Why not for starting out in the world of rum. But at a beginner's price as well then.
