Thinking about the price tag on this bottle you get a jackpot. A slightly different rum from the destiller and the added vanilla from their own crop makes an impact. The rum is very dark and looks great in the glass. The nose is mild, fresh and sweet with vanilla and port right out of the bottle. I also get plum and sugarcane flavours after resting. The palate is fresh and sweet and equally strong on vanilla and port. Sugarcane, plum and vanilla comes in second. The finish is medium long and sweet with vanilla, port and some fruits.
