Hampden S.B.S Jamaica Trelawny (Warehouse #1) <>H 2013
Pineapple, mango and that classic Hampden glue-and-ester hit lead the way here, with light wood, spice and a faint caramel edge behind it. Despite the 68.3%, several tasters call it surprisingly full and creamy rather than harsh, with a long fruity finish. One member simply wrote "ovocná bomba" — a fruit bomb. Give it time in the glass to settle.

Tropical, high-ester Hampden at cask strength Loved by the funk crowd for its tropical ester punch and creamy body. Most agree it drinks softer than the cask strength suggests, though it needs rest to open up.

17.05.2022 Sampling at home. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Intense, light wood, esters, fruity, pineapple, spices, faint caramel. Palate Fresh, intense, light wood, faint smoke, esters, fruity, pineapple, faint banana, light roasted, faint coffee. Finish Long and warm, fruity, light roasted wood, faint caramel, medium dry, esters. Extra note. Needs to rest for a good while to really settle properly.

... Hampden, legendarni jamajska destilerka, ktera krome rumu produkuje take alkohol do parfemu. Ve vsech rumech z teto destilerky ucitite divoke estery, po kterych cely vas organizmus nasakne vuni zluteho tropickeho ovoce - manga, papaji, anansu, broskvi. Jeden z rumu, ktere "must try before die"

Really nice HD 2013 with the mark <>H. The share of tropical maturation is clearly noticeable. Not quite on the level of the Nobilis 2013 <>H, but still good. Price also fair

Another Jamaica that reminds me of Martinique in aroma...for a 68% it is smooth and full in taste...with a beautiful aftertaste. I like this and would drink the whole bottle.
