Pineapple, mango and that classic Hampden glue-and-ester hit lead the way here, with light wood, spice and a faint caramel edge behind it. Despite the 68.3%, several tasters call it surprisingly full and creamy rather than harsh, with a long fruity finish. One member simply wrote "ovocná bomba" — a fruit bomb. Really nice HD 2013 with the Mark <>H. The share of tropical aging is clearly noticeable. Not quite on the level of the Nobilis 2013 <>H, but still good. Also fair in price

17.05.2022 Sampling at home. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Intense, light wood, esters, fruity, pineapple, spices, faint caramel. Palate Fresh, intense, light wood, faint smoke, esters, fruity, pineapple, faint banana, light roasted, faint coffee. Finish Long and warm, fruity, light roasted wood, faint caramel, medium dry, esters. Extra note. Needs to rest for a good while to really settle properly.

8,9:On the nose, medicinal with esters and glue, nail polish, funky, intense, fermented, overripe tropical fruits like banana and pineapple, citrus fruits, vinegar, buttery, vegetal molasses with briny olive, roasted wood notes like pastry, spicy with allspice, cookie dough, smoky, bump into our nosetrils. On aeration, red fruits and mango arise, molasses is fresh, grassy, floral, herbaceous, oak notes with roasted nuts, chocolate, marzipan join, caramelized. 8,7:On the palate, the attack is intense, medicinal with esters and glue, nail polish, funky, strong, fruity with fermented, overripe tropical fruits like banana, mango and pineapple, red, citrus fruits, vinegar and dairy hints, buttery, vegetal molasses with briny olive, sweet with honey, as the wood is roasted with marzipan, cookie dough, pastry, leather, nuts, spicy with allspice, vanilla, smoky. 8,7:The finish is long, dry&tannic, with toasted/roasted oak, sweet, confectionery, nuts, spicy, leather, smoky, fruity with fermented tropical, red, citrus fruits, medicinal, chemical, molasses is vegetal, briny, grassy, fresh with tea.

Great Hampden female style, has the typical markers: esters and of course tropical fruits like banana and pineapple. Alcohol is also very well integrated, a convincing Hampden. Also a bit of Uhu is noticeable.

Strong bottling from SBS that was at least a great value for the price. In the glass, you get the typical H as expected. Pleasant tropical fruits, esters, light wood and spices, as well as baked goods.

Damn, this is an insane treat... a few bottles still need to be found and stored somewhere... one day it will be worth its weight in gold ♥️ Although I'm not much into Jamaica, this really lifts your mood and elevates taste and senses to another level. Enjoy your bottle.

Another Jamaica that reminds me of Martinique in aroma...for a 68% it is smooth and full in taste...with a beautiful aftertaste. I like this and would drink the whole bottle.
