Glue and nail-polish remover hit first, then the buttery, oily body that makes DOK the loudest ester mark Hampden runs. Underneath sit yellow fruits, hazelnut and a crème brûlée sweetness, with faint coffee and cocoa on the finish before the solvent comes roaring back. At 64.3% it's a wall neat — one taster only warmed to the funk with time. The sherry cask barely registers beyond the color.

Gut gemachter DOK, Sherry Einfluss bemerke ich ehrlich gesagt absolut gar nicht abgesehen von der Farbe. Schöne Würze, wenig Frucht, dafür intensive Haselnuss, Creme Brulee und Konfekt Noten und dezent röstig/rauchig. Im Abgang dann dezent an Kaffee und Kakao erinnernd und dann kommt wieder die volle Breitseite Klebstoff und Nagellack Entferner. Lecker und angenehm aber jetzt auch keine Offenbarung, vor allem ist der Preis von über 150€ 0,5l nicht gerechtfertigt und die Optik erinnert eher an einen 20€ Apotheken Gin als an einen hochwertigen Rum 🤷🏼♂️ Langsam kleben meine Lippen als hätte ich Fettcreme aufgetragen, fühlt sich gut an! Scheiß auf Bepanthol Lippenbalsam, gönn dir etwas DOK gegen spröde Lippen 🤣💯
