Glue, nail-polish remover and a wave of ester hit first — this is full-throttle Hampden DOK at cask strength. Underneath there's hazelnut, creme brulee and candied fruit, with a faint coffee-and-cocoa roast on the finish. The sherry cask shows mostly in color; a few tasters barely notice it past the funk. One reviewer says you have to "warm up" to it before it turns mega funky.

Gut gemachter DOK, Sherry Einfluss bemerke ich ehrlich gesagt absolut gar nicht abgesehen von der Farbe. Schöne Würze, wenig Frucht, dafür intensive Haselnuss, Creme Brulee und Konfekt Noten und dezent röstig/rauchig. Im Abgang dann dezent an Kaffee und Kakao erinnernd und dann kommt wieder die volle Breitseite Klebstoff und Nagellack Entferner. Lecker und angenehm aber jetzt auch keine Offenbarung, vor allem ist der Preis von über 150€ 0,5l nicht gerechtfertigt und die Optik erinnert eher an einen 20€ Apotheken Gin als an einen hochwertigen Rum 🤷🏼♂️ Langsam kleben meine Lippen als hätte ich Fettcreme aufgetragen, fühlt sich gut an! Scheiß auf Bepanthol Lippenbalsam, gönn dir etwas DOK gegen spröde Lippen 🤣💯
