Second tasting: a slight resin note on the nose. Rating unchanged. A very good Agricole! Incredibly mild and round on the nose. Reminds me immediately of Foursquare. When I smell deeper into the glass, floral notes are added. Again round and mild on the palate, but here much more floral and barrel-heavy. There is practically no intrusive alcoholic spiciness. The aromas can all be found in the medium-long finish. I also find a hint of bourbon.

Absolutely exceptional Agricole! Enough power, extremely drinkable, complex after grapefruit jam, mint, dates, nougat & lots of spice and not too much wood. Extremely tasty! To date probably one of the best young JMs imho!

8,8:On the nose, toasted oak with caramel, pastry, chocolate, spicy vanilla, , sugarcane juice, mineral, flowery, raisins and cherries, orange, yellow fruits, round, bump into our nosetrils. On aeration, the rum is syrupy, buttery, dried apricots arise, the cane is sweet with honey, herbaceous and wood slightly resinous, spicy with allspice. 8,9:On the palate, the attack is balanced, delicious with toasted oak notes like caramel, roasted nuts, pistachio among them, nougat, pastry and biscuits, spicy vanilla, black pepper and ginger hints, sweet with sugarcane honey, flowery, mineral, vegetal, minty and herbaceous, grassy, fruity with dried apricots and raisins, orange, cherries, yellow fruits, as bourbon barrel impact is obvious. 8,8:The finish is long, dry&tannic, with toasted oak notes like dark chocolate, roasted nuts, caramelized, toffee, vanilla, slightly resinous, dried, citrus and candied fruits and grassy, vegetal sugar cane, fresh with tea, mineral, flowery. 9.8.26, damn' delicious

And another great Agricole from Rhum J.M. On the nose you have a lot of wood, also very roasty and somehow round. On the palate, amazing, lots of vanilla, really tasty, also some caramel and wood/oak.

Once again, the Kirsch boys have shown an excellent hand here! An extremely delicious nose! With vanilla, dates, raisins and young wood. The palate is very round and soft, with allspice, caramel and a light vegetal note. Only the finish could be a little longer. All in all, an excellent price/performance ratio.

Wow, quite an elegant rum. Really good, lots of fruit, high balance, vanilla, caramel, chocolate, vegetal, floral. On the palate similar with noticeable sweetness, caramel, good portion of wood, thus also a bit spicy sharp and bitter. But always nicely round and pleasantly tasty.

22.05.2022 Running through samples at home. Notes Medium to dark in colour. Nose Round, fresh, fruity, light cherry, faint sugarcane, light roasted wooe, spice. Palate Fresh, medium dry, wood, light roasted, fruits, light cherry, faint citrus, light floral, spice. Finish Medium long, balanced, wood, roasted, faint chocolate, light floral, light sugarcane. Extra note. Fruitier than the 10 and 15 year old releases.

Whoa, even better! A great Agricole. The nose is almost unremarkable, a bit of wood, a bit of vanilla. On the palate very round, grassy, floral and woody notes in balance, light vanilla tone. If it wasn't on the label, you'd estimate the ABV much lower, perfectly integrated. Really good.

Nose: Lots of fruit (at first especially orange, later I clearly perceive cherry). Also vanilla, wood, and light agricole notes. Taste: The agricole notes are much more intense here than on the nose. Also fruit, vanilla, and wood again. Slightly bitter and a note I can't place (what does allspice actually taste like?) Finish: Medium - could be longer. Really tasty! J.M is always good :) If the chance comes up, I'd gladly buy a bottle of this.

A very drinkable pleasant Agricole! The nose I find quite seductively fruity sweet! On the palate it spreads creamy and gentle with a spicy sweetness and dried fruit (fig)! I miss the grassy note a bit here! But in the finish this typical note also comes through! I find it very successful for the price and young age! A sipper for the evening!

On the nose: Very fruity and lots of spices. Woody and round. Vanilla forward. Taste: Very pleasant and balanced. The alcohol is integrated very well. Little bit of punch. Fruity and Spice notes Finish: medium-long. Slighly bitter, dark chocolate notes In overall, this is not your typical agricole rum, actually didnt find any hints of agricole rum on this one.

Rhum J.M and cherry is simply a great combination apparently. Great rum that I could enjoy every day. Despite the young age already a great depth. Smell nicely grassy-sweet as expected. Finish also long, though not particularly complex. Recommendation!

Very French oaky in the nose. A typical acidity, also Armagnac. A bit glue-y too. Weird. Not agricole persé. Red fruits. In taste the agricole comes forward. More freshness. Lighter. Woody still with some bitterness. Nicely balanced flavours. I like this one a lot.

Despite the young age, a nice color. The nose is very tasty and appealing. Reminds me directly of a nice Foursquare with the vanilla and caramel sweetness as well as the roundness. On the palate then woody spice. Well integrated ABV. A certain roastiness and at the end dried fruits. At the end of the rather short finish, a slight grassy agricole note. You can just sip it away, it's tasty but somehow I miss something for a few more points.
