Here's the surprise: this agricole doesn't taste grassy or vegetal at all. The French oak wine finish steers it toward red fruit, kirsch and cocoa, with delicate oak and fine spice underneath. Tasters call it round and gourmand, rich on the palate with a long, gentle finish. Give it a few minutes to open up first — several found it closed on the first pour.

#7088 27.07.2026 Running a few samples after a relaxing day at work and celebrating my walk home from work was very fast with a low average heart rate. Listening to some nice trance by Lyktum, Alurian, Coral, Djantrix and Kundalini on Spotify. Pretty nice release and the price tag at release was really good in my mind. Round profile with sugarcane, chocolate, fruits, tobacco, roasted wood and some tannins.

Very good HSE which from nose to finish is focused on wood, cocoa, red fruits and dried fruits.

A slightly more balanced rum compared to the Sauternes finish. The nose seems more closed at first, but the palate is more expressive. Red fruits and dried fruits join wood and spices to form a smooth rum on the palate, lifted by the notes of the finishing wine. The finish is long and delicate. A fine HSE finish.

After more than 6 years of aging, this HSE agricole vintage rum benefited from 10 months of finishing in French oak barrels from Château Marquis de Terme. The nose, fine and powerful, opens on generous notes of red fruits and Kirsch quickly enhanced by delicate woodiness and cocoa. The palate, with a gourmet roundness, offers an attack where aromas of black fruits and licorice mingle with harmonious woody notes and fine spices in a long finish.

A very pleasant, gourmand HSE, with a lovely nose of red fruits, spices and woody notes. On the palate, the nose is confirmed, with fine cocoa on a background of red fruits, spices with a not too pungent pepper, elegant woodiness, and a well-rounded finish with a hint of freshness.

Very beautiful expression from HSE, you can clearly recognize their signature elevated by the wine finish, the woodiness is well felt along with candied fruits. The alcohol is well integrated and the finish is average.
