#4244 08.09.2023 I got 6 secret samples from a friend as a blind tasting and that has been a lot of fun spread over two evenings. I love La Favorite because they tend to maintain a high level of quality in their releases. This one is equally nice and the price to quality is very good in my mind. Fresh some might even say intense profile with fruits and peppery flavours. Well balanced with a long finish. The empty glass has some stronger licorice and iodine.

Clearly not as good as bel air. Less harmonious, heavier. There are markers I'm not a fan of, such as licorice. All in all, the first La Favorite to disappoint me, but it's worth re-testing.

An exceptional white rum, just like La Favorite. To be enjoyed by true rum connoisseurs.

Smells mostly like vanilla, with some agricole grassiness. Some light nail polish and a little pepper. Light banana peel, maybe clove. Pours water white. Burns but only a little at the end. Light florals. Sample thanks to Yaro.
