Comparative series of Ansyan Clairins. The same as the Casimir WHKCA1, only the cask changes. And to say that this is the only difference is impressive: the aromas are very different and even the overall impression of the two rums is different. The nose is banana, clove. Lots of banana in the mouth with a balanced alcohol and a quite long and sweet finish. Thanks Dr. Django for the sample.

Crosstasting gelagerte Clairins: Le Rocher 27 Monate Ex-Whisky (RX4411) Casimir 27 Monate Ex-Whisky (RX12073) Casimir 27 Monate Ex-Whisky (RX12072) Deutlich mildere Nase als der Le Rocher. Deutlich fruchtiger und weniger holzig. Im Gegensatz zum Le Rocher gar kein Rauch, stattdessen ein wenig nach frisch gemähtem Rasen. Im Vergleich zum Casimir 12073 deutlich mehr Vanille. Geschmacklich deutlich holziger als der Vergleichs-Casimir. Gefühlt etwas intensiver. Statt Banane hier Kokosnuss und der Alkohol ist besser eingebunden. Fazit: der abgefuckte Le Rocher ist zwar nichts was man oft trinken kann oder will, aber ist echt am spannendsten. Ne Flasche davon würde ich alleine nicht leer bekommen. Aber hin und wieder um den Gaumen mal ordentlich zu verprügeln echt interessant. Dahinter dieser Casimir. Demnächst folgen Vaval 22 Monate, Sajous 22 Monate, Sajous 5Y Ex-Caroni.
