Sorry, but this rum is really tasty. Very old, but exactly for that really awesome... Very smoky and woody on the nose. On the palate it is very roasted, also very balanced. Vanilla, wood and barrel are recognizable.

Taste-wise very stale. Full-bodied and strong associations of autumn leaves (that have been lying around for a while). Quite bitter and roasted. Taste-wise not very convincing (2/10), but a historically interesting experience (8/10) = 5/10

Old taste like smell that I experienced when I came to my grandma house when I was 4years old. Wood, old box, brown fruit, totaly integrated alcohol. EDIT: it taste like blend of 60% whisky and 40% old agricole

This is also a very nicely balanced rum with nice fruits and good ABV integration. The Agricole notes are there and it draws nice curtains in the glass. The empty glass has tannins and candied fruits.

A historic evening with original period rum samples from the 60s and 70s of Pavel Špaček on 17.2.2025. The crate of samples arrived from a collector in France and can only surprise us. There are five of us, so we'll see.
