Wow. Definitely in my top 5 best foursquare rums I've had so far. Incredibly drinkable, aromatic and complex. Unusual but awesome is especially this light green chili note that perfectly complements the otherwise typical caramelized coconut, banana chocolate note. I would have bought me in any case gladly! Since you can quickly times accidentally make the bottle empty in one evening😂🤤

Simply a bomb. Hyper aromatic typical of the FS, subtle woodiness and a beautifully long finish. Superb. Sublime POS!

A textbook Foursquare and really enjoyable in every aspect. Coconut, vanilla, caramelised sugar, pudding, oak, some toasted bread. This list is longer (see above). A real treat. The nose and palate are also really nice in balance, what you smell is what you taste and vice versa.

A real delight!

The nose offers a magnificent greediness. The mouth is creamy, unctuous. We drink cookie dough but with enough power to avoid that it is sickening. The finish is perhaps a little short even if the impression of creaminess persists. An excellent foursquare which shows that the greediness can be opulent but controlled, powerful and without addition.

Simply excellent! One of the best FS is hyper gourmand it embaune the mouth of caramel vanilla and bcp of coconut and a woody discreet but present... I highly recommend

A very tasty Foursquare on the olfactory level, which starts with tropical fruits galore, very nice notes of caramel and toffee, chocolate, wood and spices and toasted notes. The palate attacks more with spices at first, but the fruits take over after aeration, especially the tropical fruits. Notes of toffee, caramel, chocolate, cappuccino and leather also appear on the palate. The finish, rather long, is darker than the nose and mouth suggest, with the fruit taking a back seat and letting the roasted coffee, chocolate and spice notes linger on the palate. A very pleasant Foursquare, greedy, elegant and balanced.

Velier FS (+ a fee spected other contenders) blind cross tasting: Honestly, the results here were very close. The Belier bottlings display a very high quality thourgout the range. Triptych and Pleni came out on top for me closely followed by Destino. I was somewhat surprised, that Sassafras and 2006 came out rather at the bottom, while I enjoyed both very much on their own. Raconteur also quite low in the ranking with Principia clearly at the bottom.

Very nice Foursquare, perfect aroma (coconut, caramel, wood) and delicate taste with toasted wood and spices.

Beautiful foursquare. After a good aeration, the nose has the usual structure of coconut vanilla and solvents. The palate confirms the nose with a woody, caramelized side and a real impression of sweetness. It's round, smooth and easy to drink. Good length.

So good! A soft, woody Foursquare nose. On the palate, the wood is present just as it should be, enveloping delicious coconut and caramel, complemented by sweet tropical fruit. It's damn good. And it gets better with each new tasting. The bottle will benefit from ageing. Edit: the bottle gains so much with time! 7 months after opening, I find a very, very chiselled woodiness that really serves as a backdrop to the rest and enhances a crazy delicacy. Edit 2: 6 months since I last dipped my lips in this Foursquare. And it's still as good as ever. This woodiness is an incredible backbone. Present throughout the tasting, it allows all the other aromas to express themselves. Excellent.

#4108 This is a very nice Foursquare. Well balanced and good ABV integration. Fruity yet fresh and warm on the palate with nice roasted wood notes and some chocolate. Draws really nice curtains in the glass and the empty glass is really nice and I can pick up some caramel and smoky notes. Price to quality is very good.

A very nice Foursquare, the coconut is very dominant but in a good way. In addition there’s wood, spices, caramel, chocolate and vanilla. I usually find the Foursquare profile interesting but never really feel that I need a bottle in my stash. I have to admit that I’m rather happy to have purchased a bottle of the Swell though.

Best foursquare I've tasted so far. It reminds me of shibboleth with a better integrated alcohol and a greater complexity in the aromas. Maybe just a little disappointed by the finish that I found rather short
