I had much higher expectations about this rum. It’s not bad, but it can’t compete with any other rum from the Foursqure distillery. The nose I fruity and spicy with aromas of coconut, lemon and nail polish. At the palate and during the medium long finish it’s fruity, sweet and spicy with flavors of coconut and nail polish. So far just tasted it neat. I’m not sure, but I think it will do well as a mixer.

Beautiful Mixingrum. Pure he is too one-dimensional for me, more than coconut and vanilla I do not find there. But they are pleasant and make bspw in the daiquiri very good!Price-wise, there are but similarly good for less money to find.

#5906 29.10.2025 Relaxing with a few samples after work hoping my upset stomach will get better before leaving for Tom Buteneers wedding tomorrow. Nose Light, round, fresh, sweet, coconut, citrus, light herbal, clove, light anise. Palate Oily, fresh, light, sweet, licorice light nutts, coconut, light peppery, citrus, light coffee. Finish Medium long, fruits, spice, coconut, light coffee, faint caramel. Empty glass Herbs, vanilla, light chocolate, light pineapple, light mango. Tried to add it to my Cola and that actually did a pretty good Rum'n'Coke.

Surprisingly mild for a rum with 47%. Light coconut and vanilla notes, much better neat than I expected. But its real strength is mixing in cocktails. The Doorly's 3 works great in a Daiquiri.
