Very elegant nose. Funky. Glue-like. A grassy sensation. Very balanced. On the palate, warm, intense, woody, fruity. Very good. Very elegant. Funky, but not just on the esters. Slight acidity on the finish. Long finish. Nice to get down a little on the esters.

An elegant nose of caramelized pineapple and esters. The palate is soft and balanced, with tropical fruits (banana, pineapple, mango) and the esters still present, though a little subdued. The rum fades fairly quickly, leaving a warm, creamy, spicy sensation on the palate. A fine everyday Hampden, balanced and smooth, but still letting the distillery's typical markers shine through.

... Hampden, legendarni jamajska destilerka, ktera krome rumu produkuje take alkohol do parfemu. Ve vsech rumech z teto destilerky ucitite divoke estery, po kterych cely vas organizmus nasakne vuni zluteho tropickeho ovoce - manga, papaji, anansu, broskvi. Jeden z rumu, ktere "must try before die"

Nez magnifique avec énormément de fruit, un peu de solvant, mais c’est très équilibré, petite acidité à la Hampden, et de la gourmandise avec des notes pâtissières. Une bouche joliment complexe, un alcool bien maîtrisé, on a pas mal de fruits mais aussi un peu de bonbon arlequin, du biscuit, c’est vraiment intéressant. Une belle finale fruité et gourmande.
