A dry, woody Port Mourant that most tasters rate well but with one steady caveat. Wood leads the glass, trailed by light smoke, dried fruit and just a whisper of caramel — finishing long and dry with a touch of salt. #4633 02.03.2024 Whiskymessen Nose Intense, wood, light smoke, light mint, floral, dried fruit, light caramel, faint glue. Palate Intense, oily, wood, dry, light roasted, faint smoke, dried fruit, faint glue, light anise, faibt caramel. Finish Long and dry, wood, raisin, light caramel, light salty. A very dry release ☺️

Small Milano Rum Festival tasting: mediocre PM with a classic profile of dried fruits, caramel, wood, spices, and roasted notes. Unfortunately, the alcohol isn’t very well integrated and is noticeable throughout.

One of the best in the range. The nose, herbal on the palate, smoky, a bit rounder than the others in the series but not my taste. Alcohol not well integrated, it also reminds me of whisky.

A quick drop by one of the friendliest shop-owners I know, after a 2 day course. A bit rest does it good, and I got some smokyness and wood in the nose. After a while I got notes of dried fruits, wood and an olive-oil sensation

It is bold on the palate, but very well integrated for over 60% ABV. Could be a bit more intense and complex in taste compared to other Demerara bottlings.
