The nose is full of tropical vanilla and coconut husk. Behind this there's modelling glue and candied fruit peel. The palate was lots of coconut and oak with vanilla, nutmeg and raisins towards the back. The finish is short. Red fruits with the raisins and oak from the palate. Overall, a nice rum. Similar to other Thai rums I've tried. Akin to Mount Gay Black Barrel in profile.

Good night dear community. This rum tastes very alcoholic, but not too bad, still very tasty. Once again, I can taste a slight vanilla and caramel note. Delicious, good night :)

24 Days of Rum 2023, Blue Edition, Day 1 I initially like it much better on the nose than on the palate. Unfortunately, the fruity aromas fade within a few minutes and all that remains is a little vanilla and wood. After about 10 minutes, the palate is also furry and only alcoholic. Without wanting to be mean: a bit boring.

Viel Vanille in der Nase, ein Hauch Klebstoff, etwas Holz und Kokos. Danach leider sofort alkoholisch und flach. Am Gaumen überraschenderweise nicht süß, sondern recht trocken bis sogar pelzig. Viel von der Nase kommt nicht durch, dafür Pfeffer und Gewürze. Insgesamt relativ unspannend.

An interesting product that I was able to re-taste recently. All in all, we've got some great stuff from Château du Breuil, admittedly still rather woody and marked by the barrel, but rather pleasant and reasonably priced!

First sample of a 24 days of rum 24' and a very nice surprising one. 👃 is spicy with elements of black pepper, vanilla, oak and very distantly a coconut, medium alcoholic whiff. 👅 is very rich. Sweet tones of vanilla, chocolate, caramel and dairy such as cream are intersecting with spicy tones of black pepper and again very very distantly a hint of coconut. Short to medium finish full of woody tones. Very nice sample.

A quite woody rum. Somewhere in between Foursquare and Panama rum. Not overly complex or characteristic but enjoyable the same. American oak + vanilla very present.

Good nosing. Fruity and light, slightly sweet. Taste is totally different. Strong and spicy with medium finish that is pretty plain. Not good sipper but maybe can be good in cocktails.

Sample no.1 of the 24 days of rum calendar 2023. Nose: Sweey honey, coconut and vanilla. Some dried fruit like raisins. Palate: Not as sweet as on the nose. More of a warm spicy flavour. Peppery and tropical fruits along with wood from the barrels.
