Alcohol not optimally integrated. Wine finish dominates clearly. Overall a bit one-dimensional due to the finish. Can't say much about the base spirit.

I gave it several chances in the glass, longer standing time and water, but somehow I can't get along with this rum. The aromatically quite nondescript distillate has hardly a chance against the cask despite its aggressive, alcoholic sharpness, which besides a certain acidity also brings a slight sulfur component in the form of unlit match heads into play, which I don't like. The red berry fruits from the red wine are quite nice but can't turn the tide either.

Chocolate & red wine on nose, palate & finish. Really a shame that you basically don’t get anything from the distillate and the red wine cask basically overwhelms everything. Only the well-integrated alcohol and the nice chocolate note save the rum to the 6 mark.

Rotwein dominiert in Geruch und Geschmack. Es kommt eine Süße mit. Der Alkohol ist nicht sehr gut eingebunden - Unrund. Im Abgang Leder und Fass. Eher eindimensional. Ein ausreichend.
