Schokolade & Rotwein sowohl an der Nase, Gaumen & Finish. Echt schade dass man vom distillat eigentlich nichts mehr mitbekommt und das Rotweinfass eigentlich alles überlagert. Einzig der gut eingebundene Alkohol sowie die nette Schokonote rettet den Rum an die 6er Marke

Ich habe ihm mehrere Chancen im Glas, längere Stehzeit und Wasser gegeben, aber irgendwie komme ich mit diesem Rum nicht klar. Das aromatisch ziemlich nichtssagende Destillat hat trotz seiner aggressiven, alkoholischen Schärfe kaum eine Chance gegen das Fass, welches neben einer gewissen Säure zusätzlich noch eine leichte Schwefelkomponente in Form von unangezündeten Streichholzköpfchen ins Spiel bringt, welche mir nicht zusagt. Die vom Rotwein stammenden roten Beerenfrüchte sind zwar ganz nett, können das Ruder aber auch nicht herumreißen.

Alkohol nicht optimal eingebunden. Wein Finish dominiert deutlich. Insgesamt etwas eindimensional durch das Finish. Über den Grundstoff kann man nicht besonders viel sagen.
