J. Bally Velier 70th Anniversary 2006
The surprise here is how fruity a floral agricole can get: several tasters pull ripe peach, strawberry, candied pineapple and mango out of the glass, with basil, white chocolate and a little cinnamon behind it. One member even swore blind it could be a Savanna. Only a hint of barrel, and it drinks light and easy. Let it breathe 15 minutes before you dig in.

Clean Agricole that is fresh and fruity with a lot of nice spices and only a hint of barrel. I recommend letting it rest for at least 15 minutes before giving it a go.

Gut aber nicht so richtig überzeugend. Die geschmacksnoten treten nicht genug durch
Review by Tschusikowsky
Exquisiter Agricole. Viel Geschmack.
Review by Gunnar Böhme "Bauerngaumen" 🤓
Yes, floral and woody. And really mild. Nothing special. But now the highlight: Accidentally poured some of the rhum over my hand and then clearly smelled apricot jam on my skin. Simply delicious - and worth 3 plus points for me.

Second tasting: still good, but I deducted 2 points because it seems much paler than the cask strength version. A strong, spicy agricole rum. I like it, although this style is not my favorite. Insanely long finish that lingers on the palate for ages!

Review by GigiMartini

A laisser s’aérer. Ananas et mangue confits. Un délice.

Schöner Agricole. Leider etwas kurzer Abgang.
