This rum isn’t bad at all. Tastes relatively fruity, but only very lightly, not exaggerated. I think the fruitiness is just right. Nice orange and citrus notes. Didn’t expect that.

Weak on the nose, but what comes through is surprisingly fruity and dry. Lots of citrus. Then sweetness dominates, and I doubt today's bottling, after the new regulations, still has that much sugar. Rum is listed on the new bottles anyway. Lots of citrus, especially lemon peel and a hint of lime. Otherwise absolute standard fare - but definitely the best the (discount) private labels have to offer.

Quite monotonous on the nose, the palate, and the finish. But for an everyday rum, it is quite stable and would flatter the right cigar if the rum is the supporting act and the cigar is the main event.
