Very nice bottling! #standwithucraine I enjoyed this one a lot. The DOK barrel is well noted and make a good mix with the LP. Btw. Hampden and Long Pond are my favorite distillers! In the nose you’ll get the full power of the ST<3CE fruit basket paired with a high impact of ester and the sherry cask. Very lovely. On the pallet it continious with those notes. The finish is quite a bit unspectacular, but the lovely typical fruity LP notes remains for many many minutes 🤤🤤 PN: I let it rest for about 30 min. In comparsion to the Cambridge 2010, this one i like much more.

Zusammen mir Serge verkostet nochmal in einer sehr spontanen Sampletauschaktion. Auf den ersten Schluck nicht gleich als ein Long Pond STCE erkennbar. Blind hätte ich mit größter Wahrscheinlichkeit, wie auch Serge vermutet hat, auf einen Low Ester Hampden getippt. Alkohol ist aber super integriert. Sehr guter easy Sipper. Zum fairen Preis. lecker

In the nose, a wonderful fruit basket with light ester!On the palate, the roasty spicy flavors predominate more! TheFruit is discreetly perceptible!The same applies to the finish!Ester accompanies it from the nose to the finish!For me, not a typical STCE, but very neat!The DOK finish is noticeable

#4666 23.03.2024 Relaxing at home after picking up two sets of online tasting in Flensburg. At the same time planning what to bring to Blåvand when I visit a fellow RumX from Germany. Nose Intense, wood, light roasted, fruity, ester, polish. Palate Intense, medium dry, wood, roasted, fruity, ester, faint floral. Finish Medium to long, medium dry, roasted wood, light cherry. I really like the cherry note in the profile. The empty glass has some light nutts, vegetal and faint leather notes.

8,3:On the nose, esters and nail polish bump into our nosetrils, with fermented, yoghurt like tropical fruits with pineapple, banana and citrus fruits, slightly vegetal and some roasted wood. On aeration, some pungent notes arise, perhaps a bit rotten red fruits, the rum becomes spicy, floral, the wood brings pastry and leather. 8,4:On the palate, the attack is medicinal with esters, pungent with overripe, fermented, slightly rotten tropical, red and citrus fruits, in combination with vegetal molasses with hay and olive, slightly bitter, dry, the wood is roasted, smoky with confectionery, leather and burnt sugar, spicy and salty. 8,1:The finish is medium long, dry, the molasses is vegetal, the wood roasted, smoky and spicy, the fruits tropical, red and in company of peaches....

DOK influence very strong to smell and taste(Fat glue bomb🤣).... Alcohol not optimally integrated despite slight dilution. If he lingered 20min in the glass also come light fruit notes ,some wood and honey with ... All in all, nice LP with yet strong finish.The best, however, is the good feeling in hard times with the purchase to have done something good .Thanks for such actions, it shows there is also still good ✌️🥃❤️🇺🇦🇯🇲

Kleine On the Go Verkostung beim Sampletausch bei Zabo. War eingeschenkt und ich bin hier blind nicht auf LP und erst recht nicht auf STCE gekommen. Klar Jamaika, Alkohol toll integriert aber deutlich low estriger als er sein sollte. Gut, aber nicht was ich als tropischer STCE Fan erwartet hätte. Aber trotzdem lecker 👌

Finde die Nase spannender als das was im Mund tatsächlich passiert. Die Kombo aus STC🖤E & DOK Finish klingt auf dem Papier besser als das Ergebnis ist.

Junger Long Pond mit Botschaft. Und die gilt auch im neuen Jahr. 🇺🇦 Am Gaumen mehr über würzig und röstig in der Nase tanzen dagegen die Früchte. Schon intensiv aber nicht überfordernd. Lecker 🤤

Ich habe erst gerochen und dachte, dass er sich vor einem DOK nicht verstecken muss! Dann habe ich gesehen, dass er tatsächlich in einem ex-DOK-Fass gelagert wurde. Am Gaumen dann doch im Vordergrund Long Pond, wobei der Alkohol nicht top eingebunden ist. Trotzdem macht er Spaß!

Krásnej long pond s velmi intenzivní projevem sudu od kolegů po doku. Oživení funguje krásně, nechal jsem 15 minut ve sklenici a následná Integrace alkoholu v pořádku, obocné tóny v puse zůstavají dlouho po dopití.

... Hampden, legendarni jamajska destilerka, ktera krome rumu produkuje take alkohol do parfemu. Ve vsech rumech z teto destilerky ucitite divoke estery, po kterych cely vas organizmus nasakne vuni zluteho tropickeho ovoce - manga, papaji, anansu, broskvi. Jeden z rumu, ktere "must try before die"

Tenhle typ rumu mě baví. Ve vůni ovocná pecka mixovaná s lakem na nehty a dřevem. V chuti opět ovoce, dřevo a v závěru alkoholová dochuť ve spojení se suchostí dřeva. Dojezd střední, s tóny cukrové třtiny..chuťový profil se podobá spíš bílému rumu, ale to mi nevadí.
