... Hampden, the legendary Jamaican distillery that besides rum also produces alcohol for perfumes. In all rums from this distillery, you can smell wild esters, after which your whole body soaks up the scent of yellow tropical fruits - mango, papaya, pineapple, peach. One of the rums you "must try before you die".

Small Old Brothers Jamaica X-tasting: the only blend - both HD and LP are clearly noticeable. Very fruity on the nose with little esters. On the palate then clearly tropical and yellow fruits. Alcohol well integrated.

The color - as usual- gold yellow honey, nothing special here. The nose is mix of esters, tropical fruits and spices. The taste is very well balanced- fruits, woods, esters, no polish or glue, alcohol is integrated very well. The aftertaste is short to middle, fruity woody… Overall I like this kind of rum.

Nose of chemical / solvents, a touch of fruits. Attack is very nice. A bit spicy / wood / fruits. Well balanced. Very long and pleasant finish with no bitterness. Quite enjoyable
