18.09.2025 Received a box of white/unaged samples yesterday with many new, but also rums I have tried before. Retasting and I still find it a really good rum at a nice price tag at release. ------------------ What a bomb of an unaged rum. Lots of fruits and very intense in the profile. I let it rest for 30 minutes before sipping and also tried with a bit of water to see if more flavours would be released. It draws really nice curtains in the glass the.

A white Montebello with classic distillery markers. Not my favorite type of white rum.

This rum from the Carrere distillery in Guadeloupe is selected by Guillaume de Roany and Rhums du Sud. It’s reduced to navy strength, 57%, before bottled. Overall a great Guadelopian Agricole Blanc that beats most of the others.

Superb selection! Not at all a fan of Montebello to begin with, but now I've been won over! The berry, lemon and gin notes are ultra-fresh and, above all, intense. A very long finish, in short, a ti punch that's incredible.
