This Montebello Blanc, vintage 2020, from the Carrere distillery in Guadeloupe is selected by Guillaume de Roany and “Les Rhums du Sud”. They sailed it to Europe and bottled it in 137 numbered 50cl bottles. Overall a fantastic Agricole Blanc that’s almost sold out. If you have a chance to buy one, do that.

Here an Agricole from Guillaume de Roany with 62%. Also a typical Agricole with tropical fruits and Agricole in the vegetal nose. On the palate also tropical fruits, here it also comes across as vegetal and fresh.

#5588 23.08.2025 Gotten 8 new samples from a friend to test. Heavy trance is playing on Spotify. Nose Fruity, medium intense, light grass, Agricole, light earthy, sugarcane, citrus. Palate Medium intense, fruits, light floral, sugarcane, citrus, medium spicy, light dry, light pears. Finish Medium to long, light oily, floral, medium spicy, medium dry, citrus. Empty glass Light grass, spice, sugarcane, citrus. Needs to rest for a while to rally open up.
