Tasted at the Hielander whisky festival Alkmaar 2024. Tasted this in between loads of other stuff. My thought this is an Enmore. Creamy. Salted caramel. Nice.

This is a Single Cask distilled in 2011 at Diamond (Guyana) and aged for 10 years in Ex-Bourbon oak casks followed by a 5 month finish in a first fill Buffalo Trace cask (it is a Bourbon)! Bottled in 2022 at 55% for 249 bottles. Pleasant nose: vanilla/pencil chips/flamed banana Spicy palate: licorice/smoke and vanilla (from the bourbon) Balanced finish: tobacco/wood A nice single cask that represents well the universe of Port-Mourant! Nice Q/P ratio for 75 € ! I'll order a bottle right away ...
Review by Filip Šikula
Aromas of sweet chocolate, vanilla, banana and tan caramel. On the palate, the sweet profile holds up, again dominated by chocolate, nicely integrated alcohol and signs of a bourbon barrel. Price performance super.

Good but alcohol could be better intregrated
