CDI Savanna Réunion (Chez Arthur) 2011
The recurring complaint here is water, not flavor: at 43% several tasters find it thinned out, with a short finish that ends before you want it to. What's underneath is a pretty column-still agricole — overripe tropical fruit, pineapple, sugarcane, with a green, herbal, minty side and light cedar. One reviewer even guessed Trinidad over Réunion. Elegant but held back.

How does CDI Savanna Réunion (Chez Arthur) 2011 taste?
Aggregated from 11 community reviews.
Pretty agricole let down by a thin, watery body Most agree the bones are good — complex, floral, easy to approach — but the low proof waters it down. Beginner-friendly, though many feel it leaves potential on the table.

Nose: fruit basket/woody/mentholatedFeel: vegetal/pineapple/vanillaAverage finish: candied fruits/woody Nice unpretentious farmhouse, probably a bit too small to reach a larger audience. Moreover, it is not the branch that interests me the most from Savanna.

Review by Jarek
Kind of thin and with a very short finish.
Review by crazyforgoodbooze
